How do we work?

At BELIV, we believe that honesty and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do. On this page, we’ll take you through our process: from the very first introductions with sketches to the delivery of a fine piece of jewelry. We care deeply about how you see your ideal new piece of jewelry. Quality and lasting value is extremely important to us, and it shows in every step we take. Each jewel is made with love, care, and attention to detail, always reflecting what we stand for.

OUR PROCESS

  • Our process always begins with a personal touch: an initial conversation by phone or online. During this exploratory talk, we take the time to understand your vision, wishes, and expectations.

  • First comes a consultation in our Antwerp office. This is the foundation of your unique creation. In this meeting, we often sketch initial ideas and take notes to shape the concept. We explain you our core values: we work exclusively with 18-karat gold, natural diamonds and natural colored gemstones. With our in-house diamond experts, our father and Emilie to guide you personally during this appointment. We are proud to have the support from our father in our business, with over 40 years of experience, he represents the second generation of our family business and brings unmatched passion to the craft.

If desired, we follow up with a second personal appointment, where every detail is refined. A professional design is developed, and this is when the magic begins.

  • When we move into the creation phase, where we work closely with our goldsmith in the atelier. A 3D model of your piece is created, and we carefully source the necessary gemstones, whether locally or internationally. That all depends on your specific requirements. Each stone is calibrated with precision to fit the design. Once the stones are set by microscope, the piece gets polished and finished by hand.

  • Finally, we schedule a personal delivery. Either in our office or at a location of your choice. Ready for the unforgettable reveal.
